6 Steps to Start Riding with Blacktown Junior Mini Bike Club

Step 1: Join the Club

• Obtain club membership through Rider Net, with options for both individual and family memberships. The process involves creating an account and paying the membership fee.

Step 2: Book a Kick Start Course

• For riders aged 7 and older, booking a Kick Start course is mandatory. These half-day courses are offered throughout the year. Check the club's Facebook page or contact them directly for the next course schedule.

Step 3: Pass the Theory Test

• Complete the theory part of the Kick Start course on the same day. Assistance is available during the test to ensure understanding and success.

Step 4: Acquire a License from Motorcycling Australia (MA)

• Submit the theory results and pay for a license from Motorcycling Australia. The type of license, usually Junior Restricted, will be advised during the Kick Start course.

Step 5: Receive License and Start Racing

• Upon receiving the license, Log Book, and Manual of Motorcycle Sport from MA, participants are eligible to ride in the next club round. The MA app can also be downloaded for additional resources.

Step 6: Register for Club Rounds

• Registration for club ride days and events is done through RiderNet, Motorcycling Australia’s online event portal, where all national events are listed. This is where participants will enter all their riding events for Blacktown Junior Mini Bike Club.
