The 2022 Husq TC 85 Top Features

Front Suspension (WP XACT)

Forks on the WP XACT are 43 mm split with a capsulated air spring on the left side and an oil damping system on the right side, making them similar to those on the larger MX range. With 280 mm wheel travel, these components provide remarkable suspension performance.

2-Stroke Engine

Two-stroke technology makes the TC 85 motor one of the most powerful engines in the 85cc class. Performance and rideability are unmatched across the RPM range due to the motor’s lively but controllable power delivery.

Innovative Power Valve System

A power valve system controls the exhaust valve as well as the sub-exhaust valve, which produces impressive power, torque, and control. The TC 85’s mid-range performance allows it to perform well on sandy and loamy terrains without a clutch.

New Brake Callipers

Featuring Formula’s new wave brake callipers, a 220mm front and 210mm rear disc, you’ll have improved brake feel and consistent brake pad wear just about anywhere you go. Furthermore, the clutch and brake assemblies are completely redesigned to minimize wear and guarantee optimal performance.

Steel Frame with Chromium-Molybdenum

Chromium-molybdenum steel and hydroformed tubes make up a frame for young riders that provides precise feedback.

Lightweight Aluminium Subframe

Besides enhancing mass centralization, the profile contributes to the overall low weight of the device.

Rear Shock (WP PDS)

The TC 85 is equipped with a WP PDS shock absorber. PDS, or progressive damping system, allows for the rear end to remain stable over small bumps or rough terrain while still absorbing bigger impacts.

Diaphragm Spring Clutch

Diaphragm spring clutches are used on the TC 85. Besides being lightweight and compact, this design offers added durability. With the hydraulic FORMULA clutch, the clutch point is always equal under all conditions, regardless of the conditions at the time.

Wheels With Black Excel Rims

A wide variety of terrain is no match for the outstanding performance of the MASXXIS tyres mounted on Black Excel rims and CNC-machined hubs.

Cooling From Computational Fluid Radiators

In addition to its aerodynamically designed radiators, the TC 85 also features high-performance cooling fins, which ensure optimal engine temperature and performance.

ODI LOCK-ON GRIPS

Standard on the TC 85 is a lock on grip made by ODI. Glue or wire is not required for the lock-on grip on the left because the throttle grip has been vulcanised.

Airbox

TWIN AIR filters can be easily accessed with simple removal of the left side panel, eliminating the requirement for tools for maintenance. Airflow is optimized and filters are protected to the maximum extent with the airbox design.

Aluminium Swingarm

Gravity die-casting is used to make the swingarm from a single piece of aluminium. In this way, the swingarm is both extremely strong and lightweight. In addition to markings on the chain, there are also marks visible above the chain, allowing for quicker and easier chain adjustment.

Exhaust

This exhaust is perfectly suited to the TC 85’s engine power characteristics and contributes to its unbeatable performance and rideability. A short and lightweight silencer also keeps noise levels to a minimum while improving mass centring.

High-Pressure Crankcase

These high pressures die-cast crankcases are designed to be lightweight but durable. Furthermore, the shaft arrangement is positioned nearer to the centre of gravity to improve handling thanks to this design.

Signature Bodywork

A specially scaled bodywork fits an 85-inch rider perfectly. Instilling confidence while at the same time leaving room for unrestricted movement, the contact points and feel offer exceptional ergonomics.
